About ClockHub
Last updated: October 23, 2026
ClockHub is a free collection of time tools that run directly in your browser. There is nothing to install, no account to create, and no paywall: open a page, and the tool is already working.
What you will find here
The site is organised around three kinds of tasks:
- Displaying the time — a digital clock, a flip clock, an analog clock, a 3D clock, and a world clock for keeping an eye on several cities at once. All of them are designed to stay readable from across a room, which is why teachers, streamers, and reception desks use them on a large screen.
- Measuring time — a stopwatch, a countdown timer, and countdowns to the next New Year.
- Working with dates — a time zone converter, a time calculator for adding and subtracting durations, a workday calculator that skips weekends and holidays, an age calculator, a sleep-cycle calculator, and a Unix timestamp converter.
There is also a Chrome extension for people who want a clock in the browser toolbar, and a small wooden fish for anyone who needs a five-second break.
Why we built it
Most "online clock" pages are heavier than the thing they display. They load a video ad before the digits appear, ask you to accept three cookie banners, or hide the clock behind a sign-up form. We wanted the opposite: a page that opens instantly, shows the time in a size you can actually read, and gets out of the way.
That principle shapes the whole site. The clock faces are rendered with CSS and WebGL rather than images, every calculation (time zone conversion, workday counting, sleep cycles) runs locally in your browser, and settings such as your preferred clock style or city list are stored in your own browser rather than on our servers.
How the tools work
- No account, no upload. We do not ask for your name, email, or location to use a tool. Calculations happen on your device.
- Time zone data. Conversions use the standard IANA time zone database, including daylight-saving rules, so a meeting scheduled across a DST change is handled correctly.
- Preferences stay local. Theme, clock style, and saved cities are kept in your browser's local storage. Clearing site data resets them.
- Works on mobile and desktop. Every tool is responsive; the clock pages also offer a full-screen mode for large displays.
How the site is supported
ClockHub is free to use: there is no paid tier that unlocks features, and no account to create. Development and hosting costs are covered by the people who maintain the site. We do not sell personal information, and we do not ask for an email address before letting you use a tool.
If that ever changes — for example if we need to introduce a new third-party service to keep the site running — this page and our Privacy Policy will be updated before anything is switched on.
Who runs ClockHub
ClockHub is an independent project, started in 2024 and maintained by a small group of developers who use these tools themselves. It is not backed by a large company, and there is no content farm behind it: the guides published on the blog are written by the same people who build and test the tools.
Corrections and feedback
If a tool gives a wrong result, a time zone looks out of date, or a page is broken on your device, we want to know. Accuracy matters more to us than looking tidy, and reported errors are fixed rather than hidden. You can reach us through the contact page or by email at [email protected]. We read every message, though replies may take a few days.
Legal
Use of the site is governed by our Terms of Service. How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy.
